The walkway creates a space with the notion that something special is able to happen on each surface. It's a Pause space.

The site was in front of a bunch of stores (commercial zone), and it was essential not to create any visual obstacles. At the same time, the surrounding buildings and trees protect the area from the sun’s heat. Based on our analysis, we designed an open area filled with surfaces at different levels—a blank platform that can be occupied by its users. In other words, it's an event space on a neighborhood scale.
